A Golden Hour Surprise at Western Belle Farm
Some of the best moments aren’t planned months in advance. Sometimes they happen because an opportunity pops up and you think, “Why not? Let’s do it.”
That’s exactly how our impromptu summer shoot at Western Belle Farm came to be.
2026 Stunning Seniors
Earlier this summer, I found out that Western Belle Farm had a few evening time slots available. We already had several shoots planned for the year, but this felt like one of those moments worth jumping on. So I booked it and surprised the team with an extra shoot — no agenda, no pressure, just a chance to create and have fun together.
Shoots like this are one of the reasons the Stunning Senior Program is built around experiences, not just photos.
This was an extra shoot — something unplanned, paid for simply because it felt like the right moment to say yes to creativity.
We arrived on June 6 at 7:00 PM, thinking the evening would give us some relief from the Texas heat.
It did not. 😅
It was hot. Still hot. Very hot.
But the sunflower field gave us the most beautiful backdrop — tall blooms, warm golden light, and that unmistakable summer glow. We captured joyful group shots and individual moments that let each senior’s personality shine.
One of the unexpected favorites was the swing, which quickly became a must-use spot, along with the vintage trucktucked into the landscape. Every corner of the farm offered texture, character, and that perfect mix of rustic and dreamy.
Shoots like this are one of the reasons the Stunning Senior Program is more than just photography. This team isn’t simply showing up for pictures — they’re learning how to collaborate, communicate, and support one another.
As a senior leadership team, these students help plan shoots, contribute ideas, and practice showing up with confidence and kindness.
At the same time, this experience functions as a true senior spokesmodel program, giving seniors real opportunities to represent something meaningful while growing creatively and personally.
This combination of mentorship, creativity, and leadership is what makes this experience what it is — Waco’s Premiere Leadership and Spokesmodel Program — and moments like our evening at Western Belle Farm are a perfect example of that mission in action.
By the end of the shoot, everyone was sweaty, tired, and smiling — the kind of tired that comes from doing something fun, creative, and just a little outside your comfort zone.
That’s what made this night special. It wasn’t about perfection. It was about being together, laughing through the heat, and creating something memorable.
