I started creating photos in 2018. Before long, people started paying me for my work. StunningGradPhotos.com by Mario Leal is the shift from hobby to pro.
I’ve spent my career as an IT professional in Higher Education. In Tech, we build things that we can never actually touch and most times, those things are replaced in a few short years. I longed to build and create things that I could hold and cherish forever. Photography fills that void by allowing me to save precious memories that people can enjoy for a lifetime.
That’s my focus for you. I want to provide you with dynamic and STUNNING graduation photos through an uplifting and inspiring experience.

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
No one ever believes that I am an introvert. I am full of energy, knows no stranger, and always sees the silver linings in things. I am always reading 3+ books at a time and slaying my task list. But, I cannot wait for a good nap. Contradiction much?!

The Colorado Mountains.
TV show?
Bridgerton or Yellowstone.
Food?
Mexican. Tacos. YAASSS.

MY STORY
I believe that we’re on this planet to help each other.
I grew up in Waco, Texas and, after earning degrees from McLennan Community College and Texas State Technical College, started work at Waco ISD and started a family. I longed to lead people and knew I had to educate myself. But, debt and low wages stopped that dream.
I found a higher paying job and moved my family to Austin, Texas. There, I focused on learning and finishing my education. I completed my undergraduate work at St. Edward’s University and graduate work at Concordia University Texas. Now, I am happy to be back home in Waco, Texas.
Most people see me as a geek who knows all things technology. But, the truth is that my technology knowledge gives me an opportunity to help others. You see, that’s my real vocation in life: Helping people.
Success for me looks like spending my time helping others figure out what they want and supporting their plans and dreams. For me, graduation has always been a spring board to GREAT things. Now, I help people document these huge events and do some mentoring along the way.

Mario is a graduate of Connally HS, McLennan Community College, and Texas State Technical College. Mario completed his undergraduate work at St. Edward’s University and earned a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University Texas.
Mario lives in North Waco with his wife, son, and two dogs.
